Steve's Homemade Salsa

This salsa tends to vary a bit depending on Steve’s mood. But it’s simple, fresh, and delicious, an easy go-to snack.


2 poblano peppers, grilled or fire roasted whole

2 jalapeno peppers (or serrano peppers), grilled or fire roasted whole

1 small white or yellow onion, chopped

1 heaping Tbsp. minced garlic

1 Tbsp. dried parsley

2 cans Rotel

2 cans diced tomatoes


  1. Grill or fire roast poblanos and jalapeños. Roughly chop.
  2. Add all ingredients to a blender. For chunky salsa, slowly pulse. For smoother texture, blend thoroughly until smooth.
